About the MUCC State Shoot Committee, Inc.
In February 2008 the MUCC State Shoot Committee formed a nonprofit corporation and formed the MUCC State Shoot Committee, Inc. after the MUCC Board of Directors decided the spin the committee off from MUCC. We are an affiliate member club of Michigan United Conservation Clubs (MUCC), but no finances go back to MUCC, all committee profits from the shoots go back to operating future shoots. There are no paid members. The committee was formed from a generous grant from MUCC to get us started and we thank them for their generosity.
The MUCC State Shoot Committee, Inc. is a Michigan Non-profit Corporation.
The principal office of the MUCC State Shoot Committee, Inc. is located at the address of the President.
The purpose of the MUCC State Shoot
Committee shall be as follows:
1. The promotion and encouragement of organized shooting
sports among the residents of the State of
2. To increase among the shooters of Michigan the
knowledge of the safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well
as improved shooting marksmanship.
3. To forward the development of characteristics such
as honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play, and
self-reliance which are the essentials of good sportsmanship.
4. To organize the MUCC State Shoot(s).
Any individual member of the Michigan United
Conservation Clubs can come to any of our regular meetings and
request to join the MUCC State Shoot Committee.
