How to Host a
Michigan Shooting Clubs State Shoot
The Michigan Shooting Clubs State Shoots are awarded two years in
advance at our November meeting. Any Michigan Shooting
Club that meets the Club requirements for the particular event
they're wishing to host can apply to host the Michigan Shooting
Clubs State Shoot. The
club will need to bring a signed letter from the club president
requesting to host which events and the dates they would like to have
their shoot. The club will have to comply with the
Host Club
Requirements and sign an
agreement between the host club and the State Shoot Committee, Inc.
The club will need at least two members to join the committee and participate
in the events that they are applying for two years prior to hosting
the shoot.
Michigan Shooting Clubs State Shoots may consist of: Skeet and Trap, Sporting Clays, 3-D Archery, Muzzleloader Woods Walk, Rifle, Pistol, Jr. Hunting Rifle.
We are also looking for a club to get us started in Cowboy Action Shooting. Please contact the President if your club is interested.
All events have awards for Sub-Juniors, Juniors, Ladies and Seniors.
